It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, or locate upon any property, any building, structure, home, residence, or commercial building in the City without first obtaining a permit from the City through the City’ s duly appointed building official
Each application for a building permit shall be accompanied by plans, drawings or description showing the exact type of structure or building to be erected, the location of the building upon the property and the purpose for which same is to be used. Septic tanks shall be permitted only after presentation of perculation tests conducted in accordance with Texas Department of Health procedures have indicated suitability of their use. Septic tanks shall be installed in accordance with the Texas Department of Health Standards for Construction of Privat Sewage Facilities.

You may burn trash in a barrel and you may burn brush as long as a burn ban is not in effect.
